Connecting with Local Media

Some of our most powerful advocacy tools are stories. Stories allow us to share information, events, and feelings in a way that brings together our common humanity, sharing experiences helps to give people a better understanding, greater perspective.  One of the best ways to do this is by reaching out to your local media.  The media is one of the best ways to garner attention for a cause and often times all it takes is a phone call or quick letter.   You can play an important role in raising awareness  by contacting television, radio, newspaper, online reporters or even bloggers with information about Epidermolysis Bullosa, a family that you may be advocating for or even your event.
